SPAGHETTI DIAGRAM 

Spaghetti diagram is a flow charting method that uses a continuous line to trace the path of a part through all phases of workplace. Spaghetti diagrams expose inefficient layouts and large distances traveled between steps. This is a visual representation by drawing a line from one place to the next. It records all the back and forth and extra steps.

THEORY OF CONSTRAINTS

Theory of Constraints or TOC is a thinking process developed by Eliyahu Moshe Goldratt, an Israeli physicist, while working for a software company in the early 80sf. Goldratt noticed that several software implementations did not come close to their estimated potential. He researched and discovered that the habits and assumptions of employees and managers prior to using the software negatively influenced results after implementation….

CYCLE TIME

Cycle time is the amount of time to carry out an activity, process step or process, measured in units like minutes, hours, days, months or other meaningful unit in the context of the subject matter. When it is associated to a process from the stage of receiving a demand from the client and delivering the product or service to the client, cycle time is called Total Lead Time (LT).
